When the colours of the ancient world faded, some artisans chose to recreate them.
Thus was born L'Atelier des Mondes Perdus , a place where each creator gives new form to lost beauty through the material he masters.

Cycle I – Butterflies

This cycle brings together the first rebirths.
Each craftsman shapes butterflies according to their own material — fabric, stone, glass, metal, wood, leaves…
The shapes vary, the colors change, but all bear witness to the same symbol: the return of life to matter .

The Botanist

Guardian of the plant forms of the ancient world, she creates directly from real leaves.
His art is organic, luminous, alive.
Each creation seems to have been born from a rediscovered fragment of nature.

The Loose Leaves

This set explores the purity of the plant world and the lightness of life shaped in the very material of the leaves.
Here, the butterflies are entirely crafted from real leaves — cut, assembled and animated like reborn plant creatures.

Each image reveals a nuance of the ancient world:
a burst of amber carried by the light, a soothing tender green, a delicate form born from a pale leaf, a vegetal breath that seems to come back to life.
