When the colours of the ancient world faded, some artisans chose to recreate them.
Thus was born L'Atelier des Mondes Perdus, a place where each creator gives new form to lost beauty through the material he masters.

Cycle I – Butterflies

This cycle brings together the first rebirths.
Each craftsman shapes butterflies according to their own material — fabric, stone, glass, metal, wood, plant…
The shapes vary, the colors change, but all bear witness to the same symbol: the return of life to matter.

The Blacksmith

A craftsman of metal and fire, he recreates the ancient world by forging living forms in precious alloys.
Steel, silver, bronze, dark iron: his creations are born under the hammer, imbued with strength, memory and light.
Each butterfly he shapes seems to be a symbolic weapon, a fragment of the ancient world sculpted in the heat of metal.

The Bronze Butterflies

This set explores metallic warmth, the deep nuances of bronze, and the beauty of a living being fashioned from an ancient alloy.
The butterflies take on the appearance of warm metallic sculptures, with wings chiseled like fragments of the sun frozen in metal.

Each image reveals a burning brilliance:
a polished bronze hue, a wing heavy with warm light, a sculpted metallic reflection, a form forged in fire.
