When the colours of the ancient world faded, some artisans chose to recreate them.

Cycle I – Butterflies

This cycle brings together the first rebirths.
Each craftsman shapes butterflies according to their own material — fabric, stone, glass, metal, wood, flowers…
The shapes vary, the colors change, but all bear witness to the same symbol: the return of life to matter .

The Bookbinder

Guardian of ancient words, he recreates life from the material of books: pages, bound fibers, threads and inks.
His art breathes new life into forgotten manuscripts, as if each ancient work still contained a trace of light ready to be reborn.

The Sand Butterflies

This set explores the warmth of aged pages, the softness of antique hues, and the delicacy of a living thing fashioned from parchment.
Butterflies are born from ancient parchments, as if each forgotten page were finally unfurling its wings.

Each image captures a fragile and luminous moment:
a butterfly emerging from a leaf gilded by time, a light wing that evokes an erased manuscript, an ochre hue reminiscent of vanished libraries, a soft breath extracted from a book of the lost world.
