When the colours of the ancient world faded, some artisans chose to recreate them.
Thus was born L'Atelier des Mondes Perdus, a place where each creator gives new form to lost beauty through the material he masters.

Cycle I – Butterflies

This cycle brings together the first rebirths.
Each craftsman shapes butterflies according to their own material — fabric, stone, glass, metal, wood, plant…
The shapes vary, the colors change, but all bear witness to the same symbol: the return of life to matter.

The Glassblower

A craftsman of transparency and fragility, he recreates the ancient world by blowing the clear material until he gives it a living form.
Clear glass, colored glass, opal, iridescent reflections: her creations seem to have been born from a breath frozen in the light.
Each face, each fragment, each butterfly is a form of life born from the glass itself.

Butterflies of the Cold

This set explores the icy purity of frosted glass and the beauty of a living being sculpted in cold transparency.
The butterflies are blown into clear, frosted glass, as if frozen in a breath of eternal winter.

Each image reveals a nuance of coldness:
a bluish glow, a frozen reflection, a translucent wing, a trace of pure light suspended in the still air.
